The Trust was delighted to welcome Lord Mayor Hazel Chu and her husband Patrick Costello T.D. to the Iveagh Hostel to handover almost 200 care packages to the residents of the Iveagh Hostel and the CritiCall initiative that supports victims of domestic violence.

A huge thank you to Diageo Ireland and Dublin City Volunteer Centre’s #TogetherforChristmas campaign for making it all happen.

In lieu of kegs normally provided to the Mansion House, Diageo has instead supported the Together for Christmas campaign. As Covid-19 continues to impact daily lives, the Christmas season poses additional challenges for many in difficult circumstances. Together for Christmas is a campaign supporting people in direct provision centres, as well as those affected by domestic violence and homelessness.
