Mount Anthony wins “Best Senior Citizen’s Complex”!

Anthony-25

Residents and staff alike at Mount Anthony were delighted to hear that their oasis in the centre of Rathmines has won Best “Senior Citizen’s Complex” at the 2017 Dublin City Neighbourhoods Awards.

First opened in 1962, the Mount Anthony Estate has seen many changes, but one thing that has remained the same is the sense of peace and calm within the estate, right in the middle of bustling Rathmines.

Mount Anthony is a credit to all that live there and a particularly dedicated Residents’ Committee. The estate Caretakers under the direction of the Estate Manager, Ray Woods, are key to ensuring that the grounds are maintained in excellent condition and are always seeking ways to improve and enhance the estate further. The recently installed Boules Court has proved to be a wonderful addition to life on the estate.

Thank you to the judging panel, Dublin City Council and Ardmhéara Mícheál MacDonncha. The prize money will certainly be put to good use!
