In the footsteps of Leopold Bloom…

Every year, Christina Lyng, a long time resident of our Kevin Street Estate hits the streets of Dublin in honour of James Joyce’s classic, Ulysees, and its principle character – Mr. Leopold Bloom.

Christina Lyng this morning, all set to walk in the footsteps of Leopold Bloom.

Christina Lyng this morning, all set to walk in the footsteps of Leopold Bloom.

Christina, just a week away from her 89th birthday, proudly donned her Edwardian garb again this morning, rose early for the traditional Bloom’s Day breakfast and can be found performing the odd reading or two about town.

You might also find her late into the evening enjoying a beverage in the well-known watering hole, Darkey Kelly’s – all in the name of the curious Mr. Bloom of course!

Keep at it Christina!
